Description:

Prunus persica or peach, is a representative member of the Rosaceae family that includes many species grown for a wide variety of products such as ornamental plants (rose), fruits (peach, apricot), seeds (almond), and lumber (black cherry).

Peach trees are cultivated for their sweet drupe or ‘stone’ fruits. Peaches were first domesticated in North West China and have been bred for over 4000 years
