Yes, logged in users can request to duplicate an unpublished project they are a member of or any published project. To place the request click the "Request Project Duplication" link on the project overview page of the project you would like to duplicate. Users will be contacted by MorphoBank once the duplication request has been fulfilled. When users edit various parts of the duplicate project the changes do not have any effect on the master project. One can also simply download a matrix from MorphoBank and reload it as a new project.
While MorphoBank aims to meet the needs of all users, storage is finite and some projects with media are quite large. We, therefore, ask that researchers consider best practices prior to submitting a request for duplication.
